Dear dancers, dear trainers,

We are getting closer towards the opening of 2016 WADF World Dance Championship in Liberec! Here are several pieces of information about check-in and start fee payment. Since this year’s participation is high we decided to prepare two options for checking in: VIP CHECK-IN and REGULAR CHECK-IN, this involves also a start fee payment.

VIP Check-in is available only for the ones who made payment in advance without the option of repayment.

Regular Check-in allows making some final changes however the condition is to be present there by 9:00 am on the particular day of competition at the latest.


VIP check-in = check-in via e-mail. The payment will be ratified and paid in advance (transfer to account. You will receive all the documents and payment confirmation after your arrival to Liberec.). Schools which will use this option will receive everything already prepared in a bag under their names. In this case there is no option of refunding the start fee!

Competitors can cancel their performances before the transfer is implemented by filling special form, which we will send you if needed. The form will be handed to scrutineer but the start fee can’t be refunded.

The benefit of VIP check-in is that the clearance is very fast and you don’t have to spend your time in a queue.

Summary: If you wan’t to have everything ready for your team and you don’t want to stay in a queue, it is possible to pay your start fee to our bank account. We will gladly send you it’s number after confirmation your start fee.

Regular check-in is available since Monday 17:00 till the late evening.

-        since Tuesday your can check-in your team every day since 6:15 to 8:00 am for the particular day of competition and after 8:00 am it is not possible to cancel your performances for the particular day. The start fee will be counted for the day and if you are not present at the check-in by 8:00 am the day you compete it is needed to pay the particular start fee.

-        E-mail precheck-in is possible via e-mail This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. since Tuesday (and every following day) 8:00 – 17:00 for the following day of competition. Changes can be accepted only after filling the form, see the attachment.

-        Evening check-in 17:00 – 23:00 for every day since Monday.

CHANGES IN START LIST can be accepted only via special form which you can find in the attachment. Please send this form to the e-mail address: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Only changes related to cancelation of a dancer or displacement of a dancer into different category will be accepted.


Please don’t forget to upload your music on our server. You can find the list of disciplines on our websites in section Time-schedule. Please find there the particular number of discipline you are competing in and then go to this link and upload your music according to the instructions. In case of any changes or deleting the track, save the code of your track which will be displayed when sending and uploading intothe database.

Dear dancers, dear leaders of dancing schools,

You are all great, well-disciplined and tolerant people. It will be a great dancing festival!!!! We are so so looking forward for all of you to come to Liberec!

After ten hard days of work marathon the disciplines have been settled into concrete days – "ONE DAYs"

It was very difficult because many of you have different dancing techniques in your schools and you have limited days when you can join the competition. Someone wanted to have all disciplines for one age category, someone else wanted all ages (whole school) in one day

We have tried to satisfy most of your requests. We have made many movements and changes to follow all the requests. We have divided 15 disciplines into two groups (eg.: Juvenilles 1,2; Juniors 1,2). We have merged the disciplines of “clean techniques” like Latin, Caribbean… in teams. And we merged disciplines with one participant only into All style category. It is possible that we have missed some other possibilities, so you can help us with it. If the disciplines are in one certain day it is still possible to merge it and sort it out. 

You can find a well-arranged excel chart, where you can use many excel filters.

For your information

Tuesday and Sunday have more capacity. If you are in Babylon all week and you are alone it the discipline, it would really help us if you let us know so we can move the discipline to the day which has more capacity (Tuesday or Sunday). It would help the whole competition to go smoother. Maybe we missed something that would help.

The chart is really extensive

Now we have 110 hours of dancing (just dancing counted by adding minutes of each performence we will see)

Dear coaches, dancers, and participants of World Dance Championship Liberec 2015 

Beginning of the school year is already behind us and now we would like to inform you about upcoming Championship in the Czech republic.

This time it is already 3rd year of Latinofestival in Babylon held under WADF flag and 7th year of Latino Festival in the Babylon Centre, Liberec.

See the link bellow where you can find “double days” how the competition is planned. At the moment we have prepared pre-planned days for each discipline. We call it the „DOUBLE DAYS“.  This is the only way how to plan the competition not to let dancers compete until 4pm one day and the next day until late night before registrations of all dancers.

Those who will compete under the organization from your country, please contact your ambassador, they will be happy to assist you.

Individual licence WADF costs 10 EUR and is valid for 360 days plus one upcoming semester. Meaning if dancer pays 10 EUR this year the license will be also valid during Championship 2016.  Simply each Championship will cost you 5 EUR. Licenses purchased in 2014 are valid until 31. 12. 2015. 

1)    Registration:

Each dancer can be registered only with valid WADF license, after that you will be admitted for registration. In case of any confusion, please contact the president of WADF, Mr. Nils-Hakan Carlzon, who is always ready to assist you.

2)    The registration has to be done until the end of September. Deadline for competition is of October 2015. Please do not wait until the last day. J

3)    Start fee will cost 10 EUR per discipline. Maximum charge will be 30 EUR per 3 and more disciplines. You are welcome to send the payment to bank account of the organizer, or you can pay when you arrive to Babylon Center.


The organizer provides good price accommodation right in the place of happening - HOTEL CENTRUM BABYLON.

The price also includes unlimited access to all attractions, which Centre Babylon offers.
