Čeština The World Dance Championship 2025 in the Municipal Hall in Jablonec nad Nisou is held according to the WADF international rules:

For each Stage discipline, the judges evaluates two criteria - 2D. For all disciplines, it is necessary to emphasize that the word “Artistic” in the name of the individual disciplines and in the name of the organization means “artistic” and this criterion (artistic value) is placed on the same level as technical value.

Recapitulation of the most important rules
The disciplines are danced according to the frequency as:
- Solo: 1 dancer
- Duets and pairs: 2 dancers
- Trios: 3 dancers
- Small groups (Small team): max. 8 dancers
- Large groups (Large team): max. 16 dancers
- Showcase (production): 17 or more dancers
AGE CATEGORIES:
Mini Kids: under 8 years
Juveniles I: 8 - 9 years
Juveniles II: 10 - 11 years
Junior I: 12 - 13 years
Junior II: 14 - 15 years
Youth I: 16 - 17 years
Youth II: 18 - 20 years
Adults: 21 – 34 years
Masters: 35 – 44 years
Grand Masters: 45 years and over
A competitor’s age division is determined by his or her year of birth in connection with the date of the competition and their date of birth. While younger dancers may dance ‘up’ to the next older age group, the reverse is not possible, older dancers may not dance ‘down’ to a younger age group. It is not possible to dance up one age group in Solo Dance competitions.
ENROLMENT FEE:
According to WADF rules, the enrolment fee for titular competitions is determined as follows:
This rule comply with all enrollments regardless if it is a competition with organiser’s music or dancers own music. If it is a Solo dance enrollment or a member of a team enrollment.
The competition rate for the year 2025 is: 1 EUR = 26 CZK.
Special rule
In the event of a pure Stage dance event where there is almost only dancer’s own music used, the WADF can give special permission to the organizer to charge 40 Euro for an enrolment as a Solo or a Duo dancer.
1. enrolment as a Solo or a Duo dancer 40 Euro
For each extra enrolment is 10 Euro added up to a maximum of 80 Euro
1 enrolment (Solo or Duo) 40 Euro
2 enrolments 50 Euro
3 enrolments 60 Euro
4 enrolments 70 Euro
5 enrolments 80 Euro
6 enrolments and more 80 Euro
For dancers not enrolled as a Solo or Duo dancer the first “normal” table will be used.

After the registration – we would like to ask all coaches (or an independent dancer) to the e-mail address: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. have sent the billing address to which a pro forma invoice with the account number and VS will be issued.
In case the enrolment fee is not paid, the registration will not be accepted and the dancer will be removed from the starting list.
The original invoice for the payment of the enrolment fee to the account specified in a pro forma invoice will be received by the participants upon check-in in Jablonec nad Nisou.
CANCELLATIONS:
Cancellations and full refunds of entry fees are possible only until Friday, 18.5.2025. All subsequent cancellations are possible, but the entry fees are not refunded in such a case. A voucher is issued, which a dance club/school can apply the next time they register with the same organizer. The recipient can redeem the voucher during the next two competition seasons.
CHECK-IN:
Please take this notice RESPONSIBLY. There is a World Championship in Jablonec nad Nisou - not a regional competition.
Check-in for the morning blocks must be no later than 7:00 am (or the day before - whenever there is no queue for check-in).
Friday 6.6. from 19:00 to 22:00
Saturday 7.6. from 6:00 to 7:00
Sunday 8.6. from 6:00 to 7:00
The rule applies: The entry of the dancer of the given block always has priority over other competitors.
Pay attention to the maximum check-in times: it will be specified after the application deadline.
We remind you that all dancers must be ready 2 hours before the planned competition demonstration in case of a time shift.
The more we tidy up now, the calmer we will have at check-in in the sports hall in Jablonec nad Nisou.
MUSIC UPLOAD:
if you did not manage to upload music to the registration system during registration, you can upload music during check-in in the sports hall.
We remind you that according to the WADF rules, dancers should have their music ready on a flash drive in mp3 format with them at the competition.
When saving your music, please include the ID of the category for which you are recording the music and, in the case of soloists and duets, include your first and last name in the title of the song, e.g. Anna Jung_Snow White.
