Dear coaches, dear dancers, dear dance lovers,
we cordially invite you to the
World Dance Championship 2025 in the disciplines of Jazz dance and Contemporary
and the
World Dance Cup in the disciplines of Artistic dance show and other WADF disciplines,
which we are organizing on 6. 6. – 8. 6. 2025 in Městská hala (the Municipal Sports Hall) in Jablonec nad Nisou (https://maps.app.goo.gl/axFWKoxFRjxTFG4Q6).
We are an experienced organizing team ILMA AGENCY in cooperation with the Czech Dance Association (we have already organized 15 years of the World Dance Championships in Liberec – Babylon).
This year will be the 17th World Championship, because last year's 16th year was held only for one discipline, which was Caribbean Dance, and was also the first swallow of moving to a new dance space.
You can't miss this spectacular show!!!
All dance schools, dance groups, couples and individuals from all over the world of all performance levels can participate.
You can look forward to:
- 3 days full of dance, fun and old and new friendships,
- an international judges panel consisting of professionals from various dance organizations with expertise in the given dance styles, VIP judges, prominent personalities and holders of the World and European Champion titles. This year, the judges panel will include judges from Slovenia, Serbia, China, Armenia, Hungary, Slovakia and other countries.
- experienced organizational team and sympathetic moderators,
- high-end technical equipment: LED screen, effective lighting and great sound,
- a large modern dance stage that allows you to dance on several dance floors at the same time,
- unique medals for all dancers in the first three places, cups (trophies) for winners in team categories and diplomas for all finalists,
- excellent and unrepeatable atmosphere, supported by our motto: "Everyone cheers for everyone." With us, the dancer is always in the first place!
- beautiful nature on the banks of the Jablonec dam, nicknamed the "Jablonec Sea" and the historical center of the city of Jablonec nad Nisou, which is famous in the world primarily for the production of magnificent jewelry from the Swarowski or Riedel brands
The World Dance Championship 2025 in the Municipal Hall (Městská hala) in Jablonec nad Nisou is held according to the WADF international rules:

For each Stage discipline, the judges evaluates two criteria - 2D. For all disciplines, it is necessary to emphasize that the word “Artistic” in the name of the individual disciplines and in the name of the organization means “artistic” and this criterion (artistic value) is placed on the same level as technical value.

The disciplines are danced according to the frequency as:
- Solo
- Duets and pairs
- Trios
- Small groups (Small team) max. 8 dancers
- Large groups (Large team) max. 16 dancers
- Showcase (production) 17 or more dancers

ACCOMMODATION
The accommodation capacity of Jablonec nad Nisou is significantly smaller than in Liberec and local hotels and guesthouses are mostly booked in advance by outdoor schools and German tourists for June dates. Therefore, if you are interested in arranging accommodation, do not hesitate to contact us in time. We are ready to assist you in booking accommodation according to your needs and requirements and in arranging transport from Václav Havel Airport in Prague for foreign participants. Jablonec nad Nisou is a beautiful city not only for competitions, but also for relaxation - there is a large swimming pool right opposite the Municipal Sports Hall: https://mapy.cz/s/fuhezotama. The Municipal Sports Hall is located right next to the beautiful dam, nicknamed the "Jablonec Sea". In good weather, you can train and relax by the dam, and the dancers' entourage will enjoy not only a great dance atmosphere, but also a well-deserved rest at the end of the school year.
