we invite you to the 1st year of the World Dance Masters Cup organized by the experienced organizer ILMA AGENCY and the Czech Dance Association (we have already organized 15 years of World Dance Championships in Liberec – Babylon).

On 28.9.2024 in the Municipal Sports Hall, U přehrady 4747/20, in Jablonec nad Nisou (https://maps.app.goo.gl/axFWKoxFRjxTFG4Q6) the teams of cathegory Masters competition will be held in all dance disciplines. The WORLD DANCE MASTERS CUP will take place mainly as a competition of formations and will be divided into five disciplines:
- Choreo LATINO & CARIBBEAN
- Choreo COUPLE DANCE
- SHOW DANCE ALL STYLES (primarily STREET DANCE, ART DANCE, LATINO, CARIBBEAN and other techniques according to the interest of registered participants - with props, scenery or story),
- SYNCHRO DANCE ALL STYLES (primarily LATINO, CARIBBEAN, STREET DANCE, ART DANCE and other techniques according to the interest of the registered participants without emphasis on choreography)
- Other choreographies not listed above
Frequencies:
- Small groups (Small team) max. 8 dancers
- Large groups (Large team) 9 - 16 dancers
- Showcase (production) 17 - 30 dancers
- Super Showcase 31 and more dancers
The organizer reserves the right to combine categories to increase the attractiveness of the competition in the event that the competitions are less crowded. Competitors will be informed about this connection in advance.
The competition will be managed according to the rules of the World Dance Masters Cup, and the judges panel will determine three technical performances: GOLD, SILVER and BRONZE. From each of these performance categories, there will be an evaluation for 1st – 3rd place. This makes the competition very attractive, as both "beginners" and "professionals" will find a place in it, and the evaluation by the judges panel will therefore be very fair.
The organizer's plan is to create a new tradition in Jablonec nad Nisou "AT THE DAM", and that only for the Masters category, including accompanying programs.
Distribution:
- CATEGORY Masters 1 - 30 years and above
- CATEGORY Masters 2 - 50 years and above
The organizer is preparing a GALA EVENING for Saturday 28.9.2024, in which the winners of the GOLD category will perform. The judges will determine the absolute winner, who will receive a travel cup and sponsorship gifts (a barrel of regional beer). The awards for the medal positions will be: trophy, diploma and original medals.
We have reserved all the accommodation capacities of Jablonec na Nisou for the participants and we are ready to help you with booking accommodation and with arranging transport from Václav Havel Airport in Prague for foreign participants.
